Another message of gratitude and appreciation came from Lucy, the Centre Director at Nyararai Children’s Trust, after our Saturday afternoon visit. The center is a safe house for children picked from the streets or those brought by the Social Welfare Department. Most of the girls have been victims of emotional and sexual abuse. Currently there are 17 children within the 2-16 years age range. The ZimWorX team visited the center an spent some time listening to the story of how Gogo Gunduza opened her house to abandoned children in need of love and care. We played with the children and donated some food stuffs as well. Matthew 25:40 says, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
